March 20, 2012 Look
for regular updates on Facebook!
Well, it is a wrap, officially. Strange that we were skiing in perfect
conditions all last week and right up to the weekend only to have everything
gone down to dirt and grass today. The nice thing is that the weather is perfect
for spring/summer activities.. lets hope it continues.
Some very
important dates and things to remember.
If you have a locker, please
clear them out asap so garth can work on them and return them to golf
lockers.
If you have a key, you can leave it upstairs with a note
indicating from whom it came from (leave by the back door once the front is
locked) or you can hand it in during the move out or at the AGM or by giving it
to one of the executive (John, Barb, Lucie, Leslie, Doug, Peter, Christine or
Kim). Remember that it is your responsibility to return the key yearly. We
cannot afford to have keys not returned so please be diligent in this matter so
we can confidently continue with this program.
Move out day is on
Saturday April 14. We are mostly packed and with a good crowd and a few
trucks/trailers it should be no more than 2 hours of work to have us out and
cleaned up. Please plan to help out.
The AGM is on April 18th at the
Highschool at 6:30pm. This meeting will review the years activities and
financial status. It is always so important to have a good representation by
the membership. We need a few more members on the board. We meet only once per
month for 2hours so not a huge commitment. If you have a genuine interest in
helping direct the club and in the well being of the club as a whole then come
out and volunteer.
Happy Spring to you all. Hope you have the time to
get out and enjoy (don't forget that the trails are great for walking/running...
and dogs are most welcome).
